sears portraits

i took pee-pie to sears to get some pictures taken. the idea was that maybe someone else could capture her in a way i have not yet. call me cocky, but i think i take great pictures, and the thought of paying someone else to do what i can do, pretty much disgusts me! i went... and here are the results...

not too bad, though i am thinking of starting a photography business. ;-)

crawling everywhere...

well, the time has come and our little kennedy has become quite mobile. she went from rocking back and forth on all fours to crawling in about two days. she is also pulling up on everything within her line of sight. here is a video of her crawling debut:

homemade pies...

Horses and buggies and pies, oh my!

we took a trip to amish country while my mom was here visiting. i have heard so much from people in the valley about how great all of their food was, not to mention the beautiful scenery. we ended up driving for about two hours, way out into the country. this was probably the best part of the trip. (o.k. , maybe second to the pie!!!)

we probably stopped the car 20 times to take pictures, and kennedy slept the whole time.

this was walnut creek. about a mile down the road is the famous yoder residence. they have a tour of the grounds, but the smell from the road was enough!
